Community Action Service
CAS Report
For our Community Action Service, we were assigned to make 3 or more letters to Masior, Merapi and Mentawai. Those locations were the places which had natural disasters. Despite having to make letters, we were also assigned to donate clothes, money, etc. Our group consists of 4 members which are Aditya, Caca, Lee and Permata; because we had 4 members, we decided to make 4 letters. Aditya would make it for Mentawai, Caca made for Merapi, Lee made for Merapi and Permata made for Masior. The picture on the right is when we started to create the draft for the letter. At that time we didn’t know what to say so we decided to make the letter at home. We also decided to prepare the donations by tomorrow.
After we got the donations, we finalized the letters. The picture below is when Aditya made his letter at home. At school we finalized the letters, except for Caca; she had to make the letter at school too because she was sick the day before. When Caca finished her letter, we all got the result of the letters. The picture below the picture when Aditya did his picture at home is the result of the letters we made.
Beside the letters, we also got donations. Aditya personally donated 9 clothes and 4 pants and money. Lee donated 7 clothes. Caca donated 11 clothes and 5 pants and Permata donated money. Which makes the total of 27 clothes, 9 pants and some money. We did good of donating the clothes and money.
As a conclusion we think that we did great on this project because we were able to make 4 magnificent letters and able to get donations from family and friends. We could have done better if we had more donations and crafting more letters. Below are more pictures of the process.
