For this quarter, the task which I have selected was the writing assignment. There were two total assignments for this quarter, the first one was a comprehension test. The second one was this essay. The essay was basically a letter, it was quite a difficult assignment. However, that wasn't really why I selected this task to be represented. I chose this assignment because most of my other tasks were test results, therefore I chose this one to increase variety. I felt quite good for this task because eventhough the score wasn't that impressive, I did my best and it actually was a difficult task. I am already satisfied with the score I have. There are improvements which could be made though. I need to understand the chapter of the book more next time. Make sure I read the sections more carefully so I can write a better essay.
This task can be related to to other subjects such as biblical studies because the book we read about was deeply connected to Christianity. The letters from The Screwtape Letters were basically written by devils in the story. Thus we learned stuff about religion too. This can be connected to the world or the future because it greatly trains my English. Since I am planning to study abroad in a English speaking country too, this will surely help me.
This task develops a mastery of concept, skill and attitude. The concept which I learned for this task was development because I had to develop the letter bit by bit. It was really hard to gather thoughts for the content of the letter. I was just clueless, I didn't have mmuch ideas. Therefore it was really a developing process. The skill which I developed was critical thinking because I had to think hard for the content of the letter. There were just so few clues and guidance for me from the book to complete the letter. The attitude which I developed was thinker because again, I really had to think hard for the content of this letter. It was overall q
