Music
For music this quarter we composed our own original song/piece. In my case it is a piece because there were no lyrics. Below is the powerpoint presentation, the music song, and the score I received for the performance.

For this quarter's project I could say that I did pretty well because the scores I received are quite good. The scores from the other criterion are also satisfying. For this one criterion B, it is personally already good for me. I received a good grade, however there is always room for improvement. As it is stated on the rubric, I wasn't able to demonstrate the elements that well, it wasn't completely accurate. Especially with the dynamics, the reason to this is I guess I played on a electronic piano during the performance day. While I practiced at home with a piano. So I guess to improve, I need to practice more at home so I can play the song under any circumstances. But personally, I am really grateful with my grade.
This task can be connected with another subject which is math. Composing music requires calculating beats and rhythm, math really comes in handy with this. It helps us count the beats per section and make the composing process faster. The task can also be connected with world life in the future because this talent can lead to a job. I now have experience to become a musician.
The project develops a mastery of concept, skill and attitude. The concept which I learned from this is development because the entire composing process were in steps. We need to make the melody, chords, dynamics, etc. It was all a process and I learn how to develop the product from each process. The skill which I learn was critical thinking because I needed to find original notes. Fresh melody that would sound nice. That required critical thinking. The attitude which I learn was creativity because making a original song surely we need to be creative. Overall, this task was challenging because I have never done anything like this.
