IB Learner Profiles
Inquirers: Able to produce curiosity to the subject and lesson. Enjoy learning and want to involve with the class which will make them ask questions. Show independent learning, deep understanding of the subject and has a lively attitude in class.
Knowledgeable: Able to understand and use new concepts, ideas and issues from the world. They acquire knowledge, unique knowledge in depth and able to understand the usage of it.
Thinkers: Able to solve problems and issues by thinking critically. Going deep in the mind and using the knowledge already learned to solved difficult problems.
Communicator: By understanding the given material, the student is able to use the material to communicate to others. Being able to talk and discuss the problem in depth and able to discuss using a more creative language.
Principled: Able to act with honesty, integrity and righteousness. It is when a student knows the right and wrong action to do however the student still does the right thing.
Open-Minded: By understanding the material and subject learned, the student is willing to share their thoughts. Not only sharing, the student will be willing to accept others opinion and combine to one great answer.
Caring: The showing of empathy and compassion to others, the student will consider other students even though they did something wrong. Even though the student didn't perform well.
Risk-Takers: When a student is unfamiliar to a situation and the situation is not easily dealt with. It is when the student does the task with formidable courage and bravery.
Balanced: When a student does well in all materials and subjects. When a student is able to understand the subjects and answer the questions. Even though the result isn't at the maximum, the student still passes.
Reflective: When a student finishes a assessment or task, the student will not ignore the comments made by the teacher. The student will think over and fix his or her mistakes.
