Math
For math this quarter, we learned about both linear and quadratic equations. The first one we learned was linear equations and the second was quadratic equations. For linear equations, there are several ways to be able to solve it. The theories I learned are substitution, elimination, graphing and guess-check. All ways are actually pretty easy once we get a hang of it. The second thing is quadratic equations. The difference between linear and quadratic equations is that quadratic equations has a quadratic in the equation. For example a linear equation is like x+a=b, while a quadratic would have a x squared.
Reflection
During the whole math, I definitely had to be a thinker for this quarter because we were learning harder things. Especially when I had to solve about the quadratic equations. We had to learn about expanding and factoring which was really tough. At first I didn't really understand how to do the equations because it was really confusing for me. However I studied pretty hard and I was able to overcome it. The fundamental concept which I learned from this subject would be communication because I have to communicate to the teacher so I can solve the equation.
