Since the topic of this research is example of website, it is not the information that I take from this website. Instead, I study the layout of the website and how the information is arranged. This website in particular is designed quite well and I chose this as a source because I believe my website will probably look similar to this site. It has good navigation since there are different topics on the top side of the site, not to mention a search feature. The information is arranged well and it accompanied with a correct amount of high quality pictures. It also provides social media features like twitter and facebook which is good because I would need those components in my product. The comment box at the bottom of the page is also very important because it lets the reader get involved with the author. This component will be in my website and will be very useful. Not to mention that this site is addressed for parents, just like my project. This site will be a fine reference for me. This though excludes the advertisements because there are quite a few in this site, while my product website won’t have a single one.

This site will also be a reference for the product of my personal project. My final product which is the website will most likely look like a site like this because it fits the description of a good website (based on my research in the “Product subtopic research”). The site is designed very nicely, the topics of the website is arranged on the top and has sub topics in it. This is good because my website would adapt with these designs. The content is nicely writen eventhough I believe there are too many pictures in a article. The author could have had the same amount of pictures but at least decreased the size. Nevertheless though there are social media features and a comment box below that completes this website as a good website. The website is targetted to moms or parents which is viable with my problem.

This here is yet again another site that fits in quite well for my final product. Together there are three sites that are good examples of my website. This site has the same specifications with the other two sites. The navigation is well, there are topics at the top side of the site. The content is organized well and it even gives out suggestions for further information at the bottom of the page. This is good and I could apply it in my website. It involves social media features and a search component. These are all beneficial facts for my product. One thing that this site lacks is pictures, there isn’t a single one. Also from the three sites, there was always a “About Us” or “Contact” topic at the top. I will definitely include this because the viewer would need it if they would want to use my site as a reference.

This source here is from a interview which I conducted during the previous tenth grader’s personal project. This information probably isn’t completely relevant with my project because her product wasn’t a website. However, that is the only thing that is different. Her AOI is health and social education, same as mine and her goal is to raise awareness of people about broken families. Her topic is very similar to mine since it’s still in the family issue category. I asked her the general questions about personal project. But she told me to get information from good sources and sort them well. She even sorta helped me to come up with a website as my product. The researched information should be accompanied with pictures so it won’t be boring, and try to keep it simple. Don’t overload information. These are basically facts from the internet, however it is still good to get a opinion from a person who has done this project before.
Evaluation
a. How the information suits to the project?
Does the information help me respond to the inquiry question?
Yes it does because it gives me a clearer image of what my website/project will look like.
Does the information belong to my topic?
Yes certainly it does because the research is for the product of my topic.
Will the information help me to develop my personal project?
Yes of course it will, it will help me develop my product.
Does the information connect clearly with the area of interaction or aspects of it?
It doesn’t really connect much to health and social education since the research is sort of related to the product which is a website.
b. Is the information source reliable? Where deos the information come from?
Yes it is reliable, it comes from he internet and interviews. The sites are from viable websites while the interviewed people are suitable candidates. They are people who have done personal project before, not to mention their topics were related with health and social education.
c. Is the information accurate? Can the information be verified with another source?
Yes it is accurate, the information is verified by more sources.
d. Is the information up to date? Is it current or old?
The information is current, it is within 5 years.
e. Is the information objective/not biased?
The information isn’t fully biased. The ones from the sites are objective, however because I interviewed students from the same school, their information might be biased. But I asked them general questions which doesn not involve opinion, therefore it isn’t fully biased.
f. What information do I still need?
I still need to gather information on the topic, interview clients, and definitely gather more information from different resources.
g. What new questions does my research bring?
-How will I divide the gathered information into the website?
-How will I make a good enough website like the ones I just researched?
Application of Information
How is this information useful throughout the project to achieve the goal for:
1. Specifications of the product/outcomes:
It surely will be important for the product because I researched on examples of website/project. I have gathered enough information to know what my product will look like.

a. Design: Yes, the information gave me ideas on how I will design my website.
b. Plan: It will also help me plan for the product.
c. Create: Yes, this information will help me create because I researched on examples of websites that would look like mine.
