Math
For math this quarter, we learned about both algebra which included graphing and linear equations. We learned how to identify the variables from a linear equation in a word problem. It was really hard to find which was a, or which was b but the teacher guided as well and I was able to identify it. Other then that, we were also asked to turn the information to ta graph. Once I was able to identify the variables, turning it into a graph is quite easy. The task or power point presentation I have attached below is the results based on survey. A survey regarding sports, hobbies, movie themes, book themes and food.

Reflection
The task I selected was a power point presentation that was done with my partner, Juhee. The task was done at IDU week, well we should have gone to Perth but we didn't. The survey was from a total of 50 students from grade 8 and grade 10. We each surveyed a couple of students. The questions which we asked were about Sports, Hobbies, Movie Themes, Book Themes and Food. From the answers, we turn it all into 5 different graphs. Another part of the project was to find the statistics for each question based on Perth, but that was really difficult. I believe my partner and I have done a pretty good job because we were able to survey 50 people and we were able to make the graph. One thing that we could have improved would be the validation, or the statistics from Perth. That was very difficult to find, especially for five topics, so some of the validation was from a global view. The IB learner profile which I have applied from this task is principled because during the presentation, Juhee and I could have just titled the validation from Australia (Perth). However, we didn't because it wasn't the right thing to do.
