Quarter 4 Reflection
A. Goal:
This quarter, I would say that I have achieved my goal because I have done my best at all of the subjects. I tried to maintain my grades constant and for some I wanted improvement. Two of the subjects I really wanted to improve was science and Bahasa Indonesia. I worked hard on those two subjects this quarter, I really wanted to achieve that one more point. I am not aware of my report card grade yet, however based on score from the assignments, I would say I have had an improvement. I just hope it is enough to boost my grade, this way my report card will look better. There are still some more assignments in these few days, I hope I can keep focus and get better scores. Therefore yes, this quarter I have achieved my goal because I felt like I did my best.
B. Subject:
This quarter, I would say that subject I have achieved best would be math. Well actually its not the one I achieve best, because if it were to be the best, I would have said PE. But talking about PE is quite boring and my physical abilities improved not only because of PE, but also because of basketball practise. Therefore I chose math, the subject which I felt I most improved. This quarter in we studied three main topic which were probability, function, and pre-calculus. Those were all quite difficult subjects. But I studied, understood the concept and did my best. In the end, the results were quite satisfying. The picture below is one of my test scores as evidence.

The subject which I struggled the most would be Bahasa Indonesia. Indo class was difficult for me, a Indonesian because my Indonesian vocabulary isn't that impressive. Therefore it had always been difficult to write essays or any form of literature. Plus, this quarter's big assignment was a speech. I mean I could sorta handle comprehension tests, but a speech, that's just a whole new level. I haven't done a speech for a task for quite some time. We had a lot of preparation for it this quarter. I wrote up the speech and tried to master it. I tried to memorize the entire thing but that didn't end too well. In the end during speech day I had to bring my paper, I lay it down on the table in case I forgot, I would take a glimpse at it. That would be the thing I would have done differently if I were given another chance. I wouldn't have brought that power, I should have mastered the speech even more. This way, the impression would have looked better when I spoke.
C. Approaches to Learning (1)Organization, 2)Collaboration, 3)Communication, 4) Reflection, 5)Information Literacy, 6)Transfer and 7)Thinking)
The ATL which I am confident with this quarter would be thinking because thinking is basically to solve problems, or to gain more ideas. This ATL is mostly shown in the subject of math, because math is all about solving problems. Math is all about critical thinking. without it, how am I suppose to answer the questions. I developed thinking in this subject. As I have stated, math too was the subject which I achieved best. Therefore yes, I am confident with this thinking as the ATL. I will still be able to continue and master this ATL because math does not stop in grade 10. I will still have math in grade 11, grade 12, university, and basically in my everyday life. Math is everywhere. When I work, I will be experiencing with math. So yes, that is how I will continue to master it.
The ATL which I am less confident with would be communication, basically talking to people. This is seen in my bahasa indonesia class where I have to do a speech. It is not really my strong side. I have some tendencies while I do my orals, which I do not think I would be writing about in here. Tendencies which show that I am nervous while I am communicating with the audience. I will need to overcome those tendencies in the future, because it distracts the audience. That is how I will improve and develop the skills. I don't really need help from the school, the school has provided so much already. They were the ones who informed me about the tendencies, now its just my turn to act. I need to improve.
