Humanities
For humanities this quarter, we learned about population. The population in the world, and how population effects the world. Population definitely effects the world in many ways. It can be money, food and many others things. We also looked into population growth, and how people move to one place or another. The task I chose for this digiport is a migration exercise. It shows countries moving to other places and why they move. There are also other facts about slave trade which are relevant with population. However because there are pictures in the document, I just chose to upload the file. Uploading the words and the pictures is just too complicated, the structure will be ruined.

Reflection
I chose this exercise or task because honestly there weren't any other thing to be uploaded. There were other exercises but they would have been difficult to understand. So that was actually the reason why I selected this task for the digiport. I learned a lot from this exercise though, especially about migration. I studied and understood the migration trends, like how people migrate due to war. Even the slave trade, that has some connection with migration because slaves are forced to migrate. For this exercise the only way I could improve would probably be to have more words in the answers. If I had done that my answers would be more complete and have more meaning.
Like I said, this quarter we learned about population. This unit and this exercise obviously can be connected with the AOI Community and Service because population is basically the community in a certain location. So by studying the population trends, I basically am studying the community. Studying why they move to different locations, those are reasons like war or financial purposes. After I researched and finished the exercise, I evaluated deeper on population migration. There are definitely countless reasons on people moving: jobs, education, medication even for entertainment. Which made me think that there are people out there with reasons to move. I am more aware that people have their own personal reasons to move and change their lives.
